The Turning Point

Run................ That's all I want to do right now, run so hard,so long and so far that all you hear is the pounding of your heart and your feet. Away from all the worries, from all the petty troubles. All I want to do is run, run, run till I physically can't. All I want to do is run away from this rat race.  

There is this guy in my class, and well as the title suggest, I am completely infatuated with him. Before going further let me describe him he is tall, probably the tallest guy in my class, not dark but weirdly good looking. He is smart, funny, a little awkward but a great speaker though not smooth, on top of all that he plays a guitar. I mean the playing guitar is not a big deal but he has this nerd image and then I find out that he plays guitar and loves Pokémon and somehow that attracts me more towards him. Now the problems, first I have never had a one on one conversation with him, secondly I think he has a very nerdy, prudish image of me. Every thing related to this can be summed up in this one image-   So now this is one part of my problem knowing that he would never feel the same way about me. The truth be told I have this feeling that I don't want him to fall for me, I just want to enjoy this college girl infatuation and want to get over it in a couple of months. No

When things go wrong, And nothing seems right, Everything is so bad You can't even think of a rhyme, All you want to do is- Give up Runway Start anew; Think of nature, think of joy, Think of beauty, think of a boy, Do whatever it takes, But when things go wrong, don't go wrong with them. PS- I know it is bit unpolished and crude, but it is my first poem which I was brave enough to publish.
